Q: Do you offer services for both the household and business customer?

A: Safeguard Storage is a leader in the industry and has services for both the household and business customer.

Q: Do the units have lights inside?

A: All the units have lights inside. This makes it much easier to load, unload and look for your personal belongings. In addition we have an extensive amount of outside lighting on the facility.

Q: Are the buildings the flat roof style or built like a regular garage.

A: All the buildings at Safeguard Storage have the peeked roofs commonly used on regular garages. This type of roof provide high ceiling inside of the units. Our ceilings go up to 12 1/2 feet high in order for you to store more personal belongings.

Q: Is a lock provided?

A: No. Most facilities that provide locks charge a lock fee and have a master key. Safeguard Storage does not provide locks or charge a lock fee. We recommend a high quality weather resistant lock that can be purchased at any home improvement stores or hardware stores. This way insurers you know who has the keys. You can purchase a lock from us!

Q: What type of security does Safeguard Storage use and do we use video cameras?

A: Safeguard Storage takes great pride in protecting your belongings. We offer a state of the art security system.The facility is gated and fenced with electronic key pad access and is well lit. Each customer has their own private gate code. Our system tracks all entrance and exit times and who accesses the facility. Safeguard Storage currently has 18 security cameras that are recorded on a hard drive recorder. The newest security addition includes a site wide motion activated security sensors that alert our security company of any unauthorized activity. We also have random patrols and we check the facility daily.

Q: Does Safeguard Storage keep up with snow removal?

A: Safeguard Storage has three different pieces of snow removal equipment and a full time employee for snow removal. In addition, we installed snow stops on the roof to minimize falling snow off the eaves.

Q: Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?

A: Our facilities has an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each individual tenant. The code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facility.

Q: What is a roll-up door and what sizes are the doors?

A: Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space. The doors at Safeguard Storage are taller and wider than most storage facilities. The doors are 8 feet high and 9 feet wide. On the 5 x 10 units the doors are 8 feet high and 4 feet wide.

Q: Do you offer boat/car/motorcycle storage?

A: Safeguard Storage offers storage for boats, cars and motorcycles. We do not provide outside storage. All our storage is inside of the storage units with a 10 x 30 with a 8 feet high door being our largest unit.

Q: Are all the units drive up units?

A: All the units can be accessed by driving up to the doors for easy loading and unloading.

Q: Does the facility have gate access hours?

A: The facility gate is locked and closed from midnight to 5:00 AM .

Q: How far in advance can I book a reservation?

A: We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead.

Q: What are the payment terms?

A: Safeguard Storage strives to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible, including paying your bill. Typically, our leases are month-to-month but we also offer the flexibility of long-term leases. We also offer AutoPay. We can automatically charge your Mastercard®, Visa®, Discover®, or American Express® each month. Or you can drop off check or money orders into our secure drop box on the end of the first building.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?

A: We accept several major credit cards, including MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover®, or American Express®.

Q: Can I pay my bills online?

A: We are working on an upgrade to our system to allow on line payment. We should have this available in the near future.

Q: What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?

A: We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 5×10 or 50 square feet, 10 x 10 or 100 square feet, 10 x 15 or 150 square feet, 10 x 20 or 200 square feet and 10×30 or 300 square feet. Determining the right size is easy.
